Well played.
Well, that was an eventful debut. After securing a comfortable 0-4 win thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United can look forward to being in the next round of the FA Cup.
Aside from the Chilean making his bow in a United jersey, we also got to see Jesse Lingard dabbing with a pitch invader, Mourinho getting his hands on some cider, Michael Carrick’s return, and Ian Wright articulating what every Arsenal fan was feeling about Sanchez.
As for the performance of the former Udinese and Barcelona attacker, Sanchez was quietly impressive during his 70 minutes on the pitch. The Chilean created six chances and his assist for Ander Herrera’s goal, which made it 2-0 to United, was his 15th goal involvement in his last 15 FA Cup games.
Despite the FA taking the mickey out of Martin Keown’s decision to award him with the MOTM, you could make a strong case that Sanchez deserved the award although Michael Carrick was also excellent throughout.
Well, it’s clear what Yeovil Town’s social media gurus think on the issue!
#Alexis7 is announced as man of the match.
Not sure who picked it but that's a commercially-driven decision if ever there was one!#MUFC #YTFC

Anyway, it’s a case of job done for Manchester United.
Next up for Mourinho’s men is a mouth-watering match with Tottenham at Wembley in midweek. After that, they host Huddersfield Town – a game which is likely to be Sanchez’s home debut.
United fans will be hoping that there are plenty more MOTM awards to come.
