Anthony Joshua’s team is hoping to boost the security around the fighter’s social media.
Joshua’s camp maintains that his Instagram was compromised after a direct message with American heavyweight Eddie Chambers in which ‘AJ’ seemingly referred to ‘the superior black race’ was made public.
Chambers posted screenshots and videos of the bizarre Instagram exchange with Joshua, who has yet to personally respond to the incident.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has admitted that his star fighter has an issue with his social media while Frank Warren, the Boxnation boss, has made a valid point about the fact that Joshua has not received the kind of flak which would have been directed at other fighters for a similar indiscretion.
“Anthony Joshua’s Instagram account has been a point of controversy this week,” Warren writes in his Daily Star column.
“The WBA and IBF heavyweight champion’s team say he was hacked after his official account sent abusive messages to former fighter Eddie Chambers.

“One of the messages included the phrase ‘disgrace to the superior black race’.
“What has surprised me is how quickly – even though he says he was hacked – it has been brushed under the carpet.
“If Tyson Fury or Billy Joe Saunders were caught up in something like this, can you imagine the public outcry for an investigation?
“It will be interesting to see if the British Boxing Board of Control investigate it further.”
