Fulham striker Aboubakar Kamara has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm after a fight with a member of club staff at their Motspur Park training ground.

Police were called to the training ground on Monday evening to arrest the forward, who is reported to have got into a row with fellow striker Aleksandar Mitrovic at the training ground’s gym earlier this month.

The fight is believed to have involved a member of staff, according to a report by the Sportsmail, and Kamara has now been banned indefinitely from all club activities.

Kamara was the subject of scrutiny from Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri and fans alike when he overruled the club’s designated penalty taker, Mitrovic, before taking and missing a crucial penalty against Huddersfield.

“Police were called to a training ground in New Malden, shortly after 17.00hrs on Monday, 21 January to reports of a fight,” a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said.

“Officers attended. One man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of ABH and criminal damage.

“He has been taken into custody in a south London police station. Enquiries continue.”
