It’s not been a great week for those associated with AS Roma.
Their 6-1 thrashing by Barcelona was enough to have their goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczęsny, reaching for the cigarettes.
This was followed by a dismal showing at home to Atalanta. Losing 2-0 in the Stadio Olimpico, Roma fell further behind the Serie A leaders.
Their supporters are far from happy, and let the players know in bizarre fashion on Tuesday.
Presumably insinuating that their players are like rabbits in the headlights, fans delivered 50kg of carrots to the club’s players.
