After some ridiculously attacking efforts of late, we wondered where Garth Crooks could go from here.
Following his recent decision to all but forgo a midfield, questions were asked about what the former Spurs striker might do next. A back two? A striker in goal?
Somehow it was something even more unexpected – an orthodox 4-2-3-1 with all the players in their natural positions.
We know, we were surprised too.
Is Garth Crooks alright? His team of the week looks…sane pic.twitter.com/WDFZZTwjq5

There was no way he could leave out Newcastle midfielder and fantasy league saviour Gini Wijnaldum, while a second goal in as many games for West Ham’s Carl Jenkinson guaranteed his spot in the team.
But three defenders who didn’t get on the scoresheet, and just one out-and-out striker? What’s happened, Garth? We thought we knew you.
