Arsenal are reportedly interested in the Dutchman
Georginio Wijnaldum is reportedly open to a return to the Premier League on loan but Paris Saint-Germain appear unlikely to let him leave the club.
The Dutchman joined PSG on a free transfer from Liverpool last summer, but he has struggled to feature regularly in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up since his move.
Although the midfielder has made 20 appearances for the Parisians this campaign, just 1o have been as a starter – with Pochettino often favouring Ander Herrera, Idrissa Gueye, Marco Verratti and Danilo Pereira ahead of him.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are thought to be interested in taking the Netherlands international on loan if PSG decide to let him leave the Parc des Princes.

Wijnaldum spoke about his situation in Paris in October, where he admitted that he was “not completely happy” due to his lack of playing time.
“But that’s football and I’ll have to learn to deal with that. I’m a fighter. I have to stay positive and work hard to turn it around.
“I have played a lot in recent years, was always fit and also did very well. This is something different and that takes getting used to.
“I was really looking forward to the new step and then this happens. It is very difficult.”
Despite struggling to establish himself in France, the former Liverpool man has retained his position as a regular starter for the Netherlands – helping Louis van Gaal’s side to secure qualification for the 2022 World Cup.
The midfielder won the Premier League and Champions League during his time at Anfield, making 237 appearances for the club and scoring 22 goals.
Wijnaldum joined Liverpool from Newcastle in 2016 after a successful season on Tyneside where he registered 11 Premier League goals during the 2015/16 season.
