Guess who was named the Best Player in Europe for 2014/2015?

Are you surprised?

Ben Kenyon

We’re running out of things to say about this man.

Genius just doesn’t do him justice. He already bagged the Uefa Goal of the Season award for his one-man destruction of Bayern Munich.

But now he’s been named the Best Player in Europe. Who else, but Lionel Messi.

The Argentine beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez to the award which was presented during the draw for the Champions League group stages.

His stats are sensational. Messi has bagged every piece of silverware going for Barcelona in 2014/2015 (except the Spanish Super Cup, but you can’t win ’em all).

The star notched 58 goals in the calender year, keeping his tally at more than one goal a game.

What makes it even more amazing is that he still shines so bright in a Barcelona front three which includes Luis Suarez and Brazilian star Neymar.
