Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to tie Harry Kane down to a new five-year contract at the club.
The Sun report that the deal – worth a whopping £5m a year – is ready to be signed by the 22-year-old and will see him pick up wages of £100,000-a-week.
Given the scintillating form that Kane was in throughout Euro 2016, it’s probably no surprise that Daniel Levy has moved to fend of the inevitable summer transfer window interest of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and all the other money-laden European giants.
After being made England’s designated corner kick taker by Roy Hodgson, the quality of his delivery caught the eye of many viewers during the Three Lions’ stay in France.
Can we all stop talking about Wales and ask ourselves why Harry Kane was on corner kicks

With England bravely bowing out to the mighty Iceland in the last 16, Kane was also widely praised for the second half free-kick he sent hurtling narrowly wide of goal.
