Iago Aspas can possibly breathe a sigh of relief.
The Spaniard’s brief stay on Merseyside is remembered mainly for one particularly bad corner kick against Chelsea in the dying embers of a crucial league match.
But, thankfully for Iago, a corner kick poor enough to rival his own woeful attempt has been taken.
The man responsible was Cristian Ceballos of Charlton Athletic, in a Championship clash with Derby County.
With his hands aloft, he almost looked convincing as he stepped up to sling it into the mixer. Would he go front post? Would he go back post? Would he cut it back to the edge of the area for one of his teammates to hit it first time? As the crowd waited, this happened…
