After weeks of negotiations, Manchester United are thought to have turned their attentions away from Barcelona forward Pedro.
The Spain international seems set to join Chelsea, with the Daily Mail claiming United boss Louis van Gaal has opted to end the club’s interest in their long-time target.
However there have been suggestions that the 28-year-old had his head turned.
Told #mufc have now ended their interest in Pedro. Manager's decision. Standby #cfc fans…

Pedro is thought to have been in contact with former team-mates at both clubs, though it is unclear whether the input of Cesc Fabregas and Victor Valdes was a crucial factor.
It remains to be seen whether United have another attacking target in mind, but it could be seen as another blow to the Old Trafford club after fellow Spain international Sergio Ramos opted against joining.
Perhaps they’ll be able to force through that move for Thomas Muller.
