Here’s why Keylor Navas is hardly a bad David de Gea replacement (videos)

Impressive reflexes...

Finally, David De Gea looks to have sealed his move to Real Madrid, ending his four year stay in Manchester.

Understandably, seeing another of their key players heading to Madrid is a bitter pill to swallow for many Manchester United supporters, but they can take some comfort from the man that will reportedly be heading in the opposite direction.

In what looks to have been his final game for Real, he saved a penalty in the Bernabeu as the home crowd chanted his name. Although his popularity amongst Madrid supporters counts for nothing in the eyes of Florentino Perez, it’s worth noting that United will be getting a goalkeeper that can be a more than capable replacement for the departing De Gea.

His performances in last summer’s World Cup certainly caught the eye.

Following that, he also pulled off a string of impressive saves during his time at Real Madrid.

Although United may be losing one of the greatest goalkeepers in the modern game, the man that may be replacing him is certainly no mug.
