You can say what you like about Irish football journalist Eamon Dunphy, but one thing he is not is coy.
The RTE pundit, who ghost-wrote Roy Keane’s first autobiography in 2002, was talking about Manchester United’s 4-0 victory over Brugge on Wednesday night, and it seemed he wasn’t overly impressed.
He was especially dismissive of United’s manager Louis van Gaal, referring to the Dutchman as a “total spoofer”. The presenter asked him to clarify his comments and soon wished he hadn’t.
“He’s a bullsh**ter!” responded Dunphy with a big smile on his face.
