Andreas Pereira has been churning out impressive performances for Manchester United’s reserves for a while now.
A couple of first team substitute appearances last season were followed by his first start for the club in the League Cup victory over Ipswich Town.
Pereira marked the occasion by scoring a stunning free-kick, and while he didn’t hold down his place for United’s weekend victory over Sunderland, there’s a feeling he may feature against Wolfsburg.
Louis van Gaal has already hinted that he may have to rest some players with a difficult weekend trip to Arsenal coming up, and when Pereira sent the following tweet, speculation began to grow that the young Brazilian may be involved.

Perhaps a start would be a little too much to ask from the 19-year-old, but he might well be expecting to make his European bow for the club from the bench later on.
