After months of waiting, Adidas have finally released this season’s Manchester United kit.
Unfortunately for the German manufacturer, there has been quite a backlash on social media over the design of the women’s shirt – with many claiming its low neckline to be sexist.
Whereas United’s rivals simply release the shirts worn by their women’s teams as a female option, the Red Devils are the only top four side not to field a side in the Women’s Super League.
@MUnitedGirl @adidas This is a disgrace. Women can't even wear normal looking football shirts these days? FML. Looks nothing like the men's.

Still, not everybody agrees that the kit is sexist, with many female fans showing their support for the design.
