If you were given a quid for every time you saw or heard a story linking Paul Pogba with a transfer, you’d probably have enough money to afford Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman turned his back on Manchester United in 2012, apparently telling anyone who’d listen that he was ‘disrespected’ by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Four years and a few eccentric hairdos later, and Pogba has established himself as one of the greatest midfielders on the planet with Italian giants Juventus.
As is often the case when a player reaches such a level, the Spanish media print stories suggesting it is the God-given right of Barcelona or Real Madrid to make them their next big signing.
This was certainly the case over the weekend when Pogba was said to be keen on leaving Turin for Spain, with Barcelona reported to be his preferred destination.
However, according to Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, the story is a work of fiction. His first tweet on the matter may have made no sense whatsoever…

But he soon clarified things a few minutes later.
@paulpogba @marca @juventusfc Sport Spain article is a non-sense. They only have one reader it's Pinocchio.

As much as we’d love to say that’s the end of matter, we all know it’s not.
Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also said to be a Pogba fan, meaning that a sensational return to Manchester could be on the cards.
Expect to see plenty more stories linking him with every club with a transfer kitty big enough to afford him from now until summer.
