There’s something about major football tournaments that makes footballers do daft stuff to their hair.
Whether it’s the Romanian 1998 World Cup team’s tribute to Eminem…
… or Brazilian Ronaldo doing this, four years later…
… you’re guaranteed to see some multi-millionaire footballer make themselves look a bit silly.
This tournament, the smart money would’ve gone on Paul Pogba to be sporting something unusual on his head. Sure enough, he appeared for the opener against Romania with a cockerel shaved on the side of his head – but he wasn’t the only man at the tournament with a patriotic haircut…
Croatia’s Ivan Perisic, fresh from bagging a deflected winner against Spain, is now on his *second* of the tournament.
His first saw him shave a number four (literally) into the back of his head along with an outline of his country (which many people thought looked like a penis).
Now, ahead of Croatia’s last 16 match with Portugal, the Inter Milan star has turned up with an even more eye-catching hairdo. Just take a look at this…

We certainly can’t knock his effort, can we?
