He has committed his future to his boyhood club
Jack Grealish has signed a new five-year contract with Aston Villa.
The midfielder was linked with a move away from Villa Park during the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur the main club interested in offering him a move to the Premier League.
A deal could not be agreed and Grealish has now committed his future to the midlands club.
He has started this season well, completing the most passes out of every player in the Championship. He has also drawn the most fouls, completed the most take-ons and has taken the second most shots.
Villa fans will be thankful for the news, given that they have little else to enjoy about the season so far.
We are delighted to announce that @JackGrealish1 has signed a new five-year contract ✍️
