England cricketer Jack Leach gained attention for two reasons after their momentous third Ashes Test against Australia at the end of August.
For one, he had just been part of an extraordinary partnership which saw him hit a single while his partner, Ben Stokes, hit 135 to consign the Australians to defeat and seal an incredible comeback for England.

Secondly, many supporters couldn’t help but be endeared by the Somerset cricketer’s habit of stopping between overs and cleaning his glasses.
