England interim manager Gareth Southgate has named his squad for the upcoming games with Scotland and Spain, and Jack Wilshere is back in the fold.
The Arsenal midfielder has rediscovered his form and fitness during a loan spell with Bournemouth, and he could be in line for his first cap since England’s Euro 2016 exit.
Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton is another player to return, after missing the last round of internationals through injury, with Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford and West Ham winger Michail Antonio among those to make way.
Harry Kane is also straight back into the squad after returning to club action in the North London Derby.
