Jamie Carragher is quoting Manchester United super-fan Andy Tate, this is the world that we live in.
The Liverpool legend has reacted in predictably amusing style to Everton’s sacking of Ronald Koeman.
The Dutchman was dismissed by the Toffees after just two Premier League wins in nine games this season, a record which left the Merseyside club in the relegation zone.

It was the significant summer spending which ultimately piled the pressure on Koeman as he was unable to deliver an acceptable return on the owners’ considerable investment in the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Michael Keane.
Everton released a statement on Monday afternoon confirming that Koeman had left his position with immediate effect and Carragher, a boyhood Everton fan, didn’t waste any time in delivering his take.

Only last week, Carragher had explained his sympathy for Koeman and insisted that he wasn’t the biggest problem for the club.
The most pressing issue at Goodison Park, according to Carragher, was the failure to replace Romelu Lukaku and he maintains that a lack of a reliable goalscorer will continue to be a problem, regardless of who replaces Koeman.
“They’ve had a poor start. They’ve had a lot of players who have come in who are still trying to gel,” the former Reds defender said on Friday Night Football.
“But even if you change Ronald Koeman, the biggest problem at Everton will still be there and that’s no centre-forward.
“So whoever you bring in as a manager, they’ll have that problem of scoring goals and that’s not going to go away unless they change it in January.”
