You remember Harry, your father, he managed both of these clubs Jamie
West Ham became the first team to score an away goal at the newly built Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday afternoon and the first team to beat Spurs at their new home thanks to a brilliant goal from Michail Antonio.
The fixture was affectionately called the ‘Harry Redknapp derby’ by Sky Sports presenter David Jones, much to the amusement of his fellow panelists Ledley King and James Collins, but not Jamie Redknapp.
Son of Harry, he could not work out why his father’s name was associated with this fixture, until Jones reminded him of which teams was involved, jogging Jamie’s memory that his father actually managed the two teams for a combined 11 years.

Thankfully, Jamie did then get the joke, or at least appeared to, and laughed off his embarrassing gaffe. Part of me wishes Jones had been made to spell out the joke for him, but Redknapp was spare further embarrassment.
