Jamie Vardy is tipped for a January move from Leicester

Jamie Vardy’s incredible form has been one of the headlines of this season.

His goals are the main reason that his Leicester City side are at the top of the Premier League as they head into their meeting with Manchester United.

Unsurprisingly, his consistent goal scoring has attracted interest from a number of different teams.

Reports have already linked him with a move abroad with Borussia Dortmund and even Real Madrid, but it now appears that Vardy might be set for a move closer to home.

A report in the Mirror suggests that Jose Mourinho is looking to repair Chelsea’s woeful start to the season by bringing in some new faces to Stamford Bridge.

Vardy, along with Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele, is one of the players the champions will move for in the January transfer window.

Dembele is reportedly valued at £20m and Chelsea hope to complete both deals for £40m.

Leicester would be justified in asking more than £20m for a man that could break Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive games against Manchester United.
