Well, we didn’t see this coming…
Former Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder Jermaine Jenas hosted the 2022 World Cup draw and nobody could quite believe what they were seeing.
The draw took place on Friday, with England and the other 31 nations discovering their fate ahead of the prestigious tournament at the end of this year.
However, as viewers turned on their TV screens, many were surprised to see Jenas – who presents the BBC’s One Show – hosting the event.
Several people expressed their confusion on social media, with one user writing: “Absolutely nobody had “Jermaine Jenas presents the World Cup Draw in Qatar” on their bingo cards in 2009. Nobody.”
