Liverpool chew Bacca deal over
Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring £18m-rated Columbian star Carlos Bacca to Anfield.
The Reds are said to be monitoring the Seville striker with an eye for a summer swoop, report the Telegraph.
But Liverpool would face competition from Spurs for the 28-year-old who has bagged 31 goals in 61 games for the Spanish side.
United in Pjanic mode
Manchester United are back in the hunt for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Louis van Gaal has revived his interest in the 25-year-old Bosnia who is set for talks over his futures with the Serie A club, say The Mirror.
But Liverpool could be set for a Pjanic buy too (sorry for that) to replace outgoing skipper Steven Gerrard.
The newspaper report that Rodgers was quoted a price of £37m for the star in February.
Pedro blow for United and Liverpool
Manchester United and Liverpool look set to miss out on Barcelona star Pedro.
The 27-year-old winger is believed to have signed a deal with Inter Milan to link up with former Man City boss Roberto Mancini.
The Corriere dello Sport report the out-of-favour Camp Nou star has signed for a £12m fee.
