United ‘getting the new Ronaldo’

Manchester United are in pole position to sign Dutch star Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven.

The Daily Star say the £25m-rated winger could get a bumper £135,000-a-week deal if he makes the move to Old Trafford ahead of Liverpool.

Talksport report the 21-year-old could be the ‘new Cristiano Ronaldo’ for United, according to former Netherlands player Ronald de Boer.

Yaya is a wanted man (just not at City)

Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are the two most likely destinations for 31-year-old midfielder Yaya Toure this summer, The Times report.

The Manchester City player says no amount of cash will make him stay at the Etihad if he’s not wanted (ahhhhhh, poor fella) and he will look to move to a club offering new challenges.

City and Spurs hot for £20m Rodriguez

Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez could spark a bidding war between Manchester City and Tonttenham Hotspur this summer.

Both City and Spurs are both keen on signing the young English striker – but he comes with a price tag of at least £20m, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Manuel Pellegrini is looking to overhaul his ageing squad and Rodriguez is on his wishlist along with England stars Ross Barkley and Raheem Sterling.

But former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino could be ready to spend big to secure a reunion with the 25-year-old.
