John Terry has never been one to shy away from a challenge on the field of play, and now he’s taken on an ex-player off it.
The former England captain has come under criticism from various ex-pros for his displays this season, but it seems he only respects some of them enough to accept their comments.
When asked about which story had hurt him the most, Terry admitted the need to “take it on the chin” when the likes of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher had taken him to task.
But it was a different story as far as Neville and Carragher’s fellow pundit Robbie Savage is concerned.

“When certain other people speak, maybe I don’t listen,” Terry said in a press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League meeting with Dinamo Kiev.
“When players who haven’t had a career…come for people who’ve achieved what I achieved. Robbie Savage being one.”
Over to you, Robbie…
