John Terry’s rumoured next destination is completely unexpected

Out of the Blues

With Chelsea’s season all but ended by an FA Cup defeat to Everton, John Terry is set for a trophyless farewell.

It’s been common knowledge for a while that the former England captain will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, but his next destination is still unclear.

The 35-year-old has been linked with money-spinning moves to the Middle East, Major League Soccer and the Chinese Super League, but the latest rumour suggests Terry will be offered a quick route into management.

According to the Mirror, Terry’s Chelsea exit has alerted Jan Bech Andersen, owner of Danish club Brondby.

Thomas Frank quit his role as manager at the club recently following a disagreement with Andersen, and it’s now reported that Terry could be offered a player-coach role in Denmark.

Terry has made it clear that he would ideally like to remain with Chelsea, but has been told that he won’t be offered a new deal.
