Scouse Cafu is back.
Liverpool are on a high right now, having put Manchester United to the sword in the Europa League in mid-week. Up next is a potentially tricky game against Southampton at Anfield but it’s alright, because Jon Flanagan’s back…as captain.
Born and bred Scouser.

The Liverpool left-back is enjoying his return from injury this year and has just signed a new three-year deal with the Reds to boot.
Needless to say the announcement that Flanno’s captain was taken rather well.
For those suspicious of the concept of Flanno as capt, remember his comeback? Suddenly we had a talker in defence for the first time in ages

Jon Flanagan, captain of Liverpool. All is well with the universe.
(Oh and Daniel Sturridge is starting too so that’s nice.)
