It was Walters’ first response to Keane’s comments
Kelly Cates is joined by Jon Walters and Steve Sidwell in the latest episode of Liquid Football to discuss Roy Keane, the international break and Michael Owen’s public spat with Alan Shearer.
Jon goes into full detail of the history of his spat with Keane, who was his manager at Ipswich Town and assistant to Martin O’Neill at the Republic of Ireland.
The response comes off the back of comments Keane made during an interview with Irish media, in which he criticised Walters as a footballer, as well as an emotional appearance he made on Ireland’s Late Late Show.
