Things have been going very wrong for Jose Mourinho, so much so that the Chelsea manager could be out of a job by November.
The Blues sit 15th in the table after just three wins from their first 10 games, the worst ever title defence in the Premier League era.
And the Daily Star claim that defeat in next week’s match against Liverpool will be the last straw for Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
Mourinho would be due a payout in the region of £30m if the club part ways with him now, due to the terms of the new contract he signed over the summer.
Pep Guardiola, whose Bayern Munich contract ends next summer, is among those to have been linked with the post if Mourinho leaves, while the Daily Telegraph report that former Blues bosses Carlo Ancelotti and Guus Hiddink could be considered.
