Jose Mourinho hits back at reported leaks from Manchester United dressing room

Take that, Lee Sharpe!

Everyone is hearing something about what’s going on in the Old Trafford dressing room.

Lee Sharpe was led to believe that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had stopped giving detailed instructions to his players on matchdays. Gary Neville, meanwhile, claimed that his sources at his former club insisted that the dressing room was still behind Mourinho.

Mourinho is accustomed to pressure from the media but he maintains that he doesn’t pay much attention to reports on the goings-on at United.

Ahead of Monday night’s visit of Spurs, the Red Devils boss was asked for his opinion on the speculation about the mood among his players and he was predictably defensive about the situation.

“I don’t read, I don’t listen, I don’t watch and I really don’t know. And sometimes when you ask some questions, I really don’t know what to say because I’m not the kind of manager that is too worried about it or reading all the time,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.

“If you write what you supposedly know then I don’t know why you have to ask questions because you know everything.

“I don’t understand the outside because the outside is outside and the AON training centre is quite safe and unless you have some bugs or mini-drones that you can look at them then I don’t know how you can know everything when you look like you don’t know a lot.”
