He wasn’t, and as a result has been farmed out to Juventus on loan.
Back in England, Juan Cuadrado showed glimpses of his brilliant best as Juve beat City 2-1 at the Etihad. He even had the audacity to try this rabona pass from within his own half.
It wasn’t quite as spectacular as Alvaro Morata’s curling winner, but was part of a performance that might suggest that Cuadrado could be a big hit in this year’s Champions League.
