They’ve done it!

When the rumour and leaked image of Juventus’ special fourth kid came out last week, we felt it must have been too good to be true.

FootyHeadlines are normally reliable and we prayed to the kit Gods that the Old Lady would come good and deliver the goods.

Well confirmation arrived on November 1 that the commemorative jersey, produced to mark the 120th anniversary of Juventus’ foundation, is the real deal.

The Italian giants unveiled the classy shirt in a short Twitter video on Wednesday morning.

The jersey will be worn by Juventus during their next home game, a Serie A meeting with Benevento on November 5, and it will be available for fans to purchase too, albeit limitedly so.

Only 1897 shirts have been produced, a nod to the year that the club was established, and each one will be numbered from 1-1897.

“This special shirt combines vintage aesthetic with contemporary materials,” a statement reads. “It’s made from a high-performance technical fabric that flexes with the body for an impeccable fit. The crew-neck silhouette and slim-fit short sleeves recall the great champions of the past.

“Three golden stars – representing 30 league championships – decorate the chest, while the sponsor logos are printed black-on-black for a perfectly polished look.”

It’s bloody gorgeous.
