Khabib is taking on the whole of Ireland
It’s ticking ever closer to the the big fight and things are getting heated between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
On Wednesday evening, the open workouts were held in Las Vegas with all the fighters on the card taking to the stage and putting on a bit of a show for the assembled media and fans.
When it was Khabib’s turn, he faced the crowd and used a tactic that he’s used before in his verbal bouts with McGregor, asking about McGregor and the Irish language.

“In three days. In three days you’re going to like me. I have a question for Ireland. What about your language? What about the Irish language? Where is your language right now? What’s wrong with your language?
“You guys change it? Please can someone give me an answer? Are you guys with England right now?
“[Conor McGregor] talks them fighting against the English but his grandfather Christopher McGregor was in the English navy.”
Khabib is certainly trying to do his fair share to promote the fight.
