The Argentine was being driven by a chauffeur

As reported by the Mirror, the 29-year-old was being driven by a chauffeur in a £70,000 Mercedes V-Class when it flipped on the A12 on Thursday (March 31) and landed on its side.

A West Ham spokesperson told Mirror Football that Lanzini was met by player care officials upon his arrival at the training ground.
Speaking after the incident, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 12:49hrs on Thursday, 31 March to reports of a collision on the A12 in Romford.
“Officers attended and it was reported that a car had left the westbound carriageway before colliding with a tree. No injuries were reported.”
It remains to be seen whether the attacking midfielder will be available for the Hammers’ Premier League fixture against Everton at the weekend.
Important few weeks for West Ham
Lanzini – who was an unused substitute in Argentina’s 3-0 victory over Venezuela and 1-1 draw with Ecuador over the international break – has made a total of 193 appearances for the Irons, scoring 28 times.
He has played an important role in the Hammers’ impressive season to date, registering six goals and three assists in 36 matches.
David Moyes’ side currently sit six points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who have two games in hand ahead of the run-in.
