Confusion reigns over the future of David de Gea.
It was widely reported that two separate but related deals had been agreed between Manchester United and Real Madrid – De Gea to Real, and Keylor Navas to Old Trafford.
However, reports are now emerging from Spain that De Gea’s move to Spain was NOT registered in time with the Spanish authorities.
The Spanish transfer window shut at 12am CET on Tuesday morning, and word has it that the documents were not verified in time.
The documents did not arrive on time!!!!!! Presentation was ready. All agreed. But as it stands de Gea stays at MUFC!!

If true it means that David de Gea will remain a Manchester United for another season, and presumably Navas will stay at the Bernabeu.
