Let the debates commence
As the international break reminds us that without football our weekends would be empty, lifeless voids that we’d struggle to fill, we should be thankful for things like the FIFA games. They are a great source of hours of fun that allow us to recreate what we can’t when watching our club teams helplessly from the stands.
There will be a new FIFA game released at the end of this month, with all the new updates, squads and kits that we crave once the transfer window has closed and the new season has begun.
In the build up to the release of FIFA 19, keen gamers have managed to get their hands on some leaked player ratings, the most recent of which is the most significant of all.
The leak reveals the top 50 players on the game and their ratings.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both been given the same rating of 94, which will certainly spark outrage from both camps.
Neymar remains the third best player on the game, with a rating of 92, while Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne and Real Madrid’s Luka Modrić sit just behind on 91.
Let’s hope this year the players are happy with their ratings, and don’t form a mass protest, as seen in this hilarious advert.
