Laundry women beat Manchester United to Paul Pogba announcement

In case you had any doubts.

It’s the most expensive transfer of all-time.

For months, we’ve been building up to Manchester United’s announcement that finally their prodigal son, Paul Pogba, will return to the city he once called home and become a United player once more.

Sure, adidas had confirmed it already. And yeah, so what if Pogba’s hairdresser had made the announcement before any of the official channels? We all know that it’s not official until you see the man in a United shirt.

So whoever runs the Manchester United social media account was already dreaming of those sweet, sweet numbers from the first picture of Pogba wearing the new United kit.

That is, of course, assuming that the club’s laundry women don’t accidentally share a picture with the returning Frenchman.

Poor Manchester United, they’re just a small club trying to do their best in this crazy world of big-money transfers.

First they were bullied into letting Zlatan Ibrahimovic announce his arrival at Old Trafford, and now they’re being strong-armed by their own workers.

They may have broken the news themselves that Pogba was having a medical ahead of his record-breaking transfer, but is that really enough when you consider the fact some laundry workers have stolen nearly 2,000 RTs from them?

This would never have happened under Fergie.
