Miroslav Klose will go down as one of the best strikers of the last 30 years.

The ex-Germany international is still well capable of doing a job, but if he does play next season, it won’t be at Lazio.

The Rome club is preparing to say goodbye to the German striker, and Sunday afternoon is going to be a designated ‘KloseDay’ at the Stadio Olympico.

Klose, who has been at the club since 2011, has grabbed 62 goals, and is widely regarded as one of the best non-Italian strikers to ever grace Serie A.

Earlier this week it was confirmed he would be leaving the club this summer, and the club has announced a special jersey tribute to the 37-year-old ahead of their game with Fiorentina.

Klose, who is one of the best strikers ever to grace various European leagues, may continue to play after this summer.

But for now, let’s marvel at the ageless clinical frontman.
