It does look snazzy
Leaked images reveal Manchester United’s away kit for next season is likely to feature a retro adidas logo.
The kit is set to be launched in July, but leaked images and graphics are already hitting the internet.
It looks like the away kit will be a tribute to the iconic shirt of the early 1990s, with a blue graphic print over a predominantly white jersey. This is already something that will please the United fan base, harking back to the early 90s and the final season of the old First Division, before the creation of the Premier League in 1992.
With the likes of Peter Schmeichel, Mark Hughes and Steve Bruce as the spine of the team, and a promising teenager called Ryan Giggs breaking into the squad, the famous jersey represents an iconic season for the Red Devils.
The new #mufc 21-22 away kit will feature the Adidas Trefoil Logo becoming the first major football shirt to do so since the early 1990s.

But if the shirt was to also feature the classic adidas logo, then it may be elevated to a whole new level. The logo, which the company used throughout the 1970s and 80s, was replaced by the current design in 1991. However it is still used in the adidas Originals range, and if it were to feature on United’s top it would be the first use of the retro logo on a major club’s shirt since the early 90s.
This blue and white design is by no means a guarantee by the folk at FootyHeadlines seem pretty confident adidas will go down that route next season.
United fans have felt hard done by at the hands of Adidas over recent seasons, having seen the cracking kits that Arsenal have received over the past couple of seasons whilst United have been handed monstrosities like the zebra away kit this season.
But if this kit for next season comes to fruition, then it could be an absolute beauty.
