Leicester City might have the division’s top scorer already but it hasn’t stopped Claudio Ranieri going out and splashing a club record fee for Loic Remy.
It is being reported that the league leaders are ready to bring the Chelsea striker to the Midlands for around £11.5m after a loan bid for the same player was rejected.

It seems that the promise of Champions League football was too much for Loic Remy to turn down as he prepares to leave Chelsea’s relegation battle.
It seems that now if you want to win trophies, you join clubs like Leicester. Not Chelsea.
But Ranieri does have previous with these kind of big-money signings and the question remains whether or not Remy is his sort of player. Or Leicester’s.
