Players from both Celtic and Rangers must be accustomed to the daily abuse shouted at them from supporters of their arch-rivals.
And something tells us that this wasn’t the first instance in which Leigh Griffiths resorted to this absolutely savage comeback following some unkind words from a Rangers fan.
Griffiths arrived at Glasgow airport on Tuesday and prepared to board his flight to Norway, where the Hoops are playing Rosenborg in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
It was there that he encountered a vocal Rangers supporter who was not afraid to voice his anti-Celtic opinions.
We can’t quite make out what was shouted in Griffiths’ direction but we can make out his response with perfect clarity.

“Your club’s dead, mate. Beat it!” Griffiths replied, much to captain Scott Brown’s amusement.
Brown actually came off second best in a piece of airport trolling from a Rangers supporter last month.
The midfielder was none too pleased after falling victim to a prank pulled by a pair of Gers fans who, after asking Brown to pose with them for a photograph, broke into their club’s famous chant: “We are the people.”
