It’s fair to say Bonucci lost his head
Leonardo Bonucci reportedly told a member of Inter Milan’s staff ‘I will kill you’ after Juventus suffered defeat in the Supercoppa Italiana in extra-time.
Inter won the cup courtesy of Alexis Sanchez’s last-gasp goal in the 120th minute, after Weston McKennie and Lautaro Martinez both scored in the first half.
Italian defender Bonucci was visibly angry after the final whistle was blown, and appeared to take his frustration out on the Inter staff – shoving the rival side’s secretary Cristiano Mozzill.
The 34-year-old had been waiting on the sidelines to come on as a late substitute, with Juve wanting the veteran to take a spot-kick should the clash go to a penalty shootout.
The Juventus staff were reportedly urging their players to to give away a free-kick or kick the ball out of play so that Bonucci could be introduced.
However, the Bianconeri’s plan failed to materialise as former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez pounced on an error from Alex Sandro to seal a 2-1 win for Inter.

As the Inter staff celebrated right next to him, Bonucci turned and appeared to shove Mozzillo in frustration.
According to Il Tempo, as per Football Italia, the defender was so angry with the Inter secretary that he even told him: “You don’t celebrate to my face, what the f*** are you doing? I am going to kill you!”
Mozzillo reportedly replied, “What are you doing?” and tried to move Bonucci away.
While the ugly scenes didn’t escalate any further, federal investigators are expected to look into the confrontation, which could potentially see Bonucci handed a ban.
