Back in October of 2014, one Chelsea fan made a few very bold predictions.
Buoyed by his side’s 6-0 thrashing of European heavyweights FC Maribor, he contacted a BBC Radio 5 Live phone-in and sensationally claimed that Chelsea had “outgrown” the other Premier League teams.
Also claiming that he expected his team to win a quadruple and achieve at least 100 points as they pushed for a Premier League title, this guy was always riding for some kind of fall.
Chelsea fell short of their quadruple, but by winning the League at a canter and also claiming the League Cup, he wasn’t left with too much egg in his face.
Now though, things are very different.
Just 14 months on from the phone call, and it’s incredible to see just how far Chelsea have slipped. They certainly won’t be getting anywhere near 100 points this season…
