It has been a disastrous 2017 thus far for Liverpool Football Club and Jurgen Klopp.
Prior to Christmas, the Anfield club were looking like genuine title-contenders and the most likely rivals to runaway Chelsea. Jurgen Klopp was being heralded as the best manager in the Premier League, especially with the resources available to him.
But a month is a long time in football and the mood has changed drastically on Merseyside. Three defeats in a row have put pay to two winnable cup competitions, and Klopp’s side have slipped to fourth in the league table.
The supporters are known for their patience and their German manager has lots of credit in the bank, but after a tepid 2-1 loss at Anfield to Wolves on Saturday, they are fed up and openly questioning the former Dortmund man’s choices.
They’ve not given up on him by a long shot, but this is a crisis, and the charismatic German deserves some of the evident chagrin…

This time last week, we hadn't lost at Anfield in a year. Now, 3 times in a week. Crisis.

I'm sorry, but how can you not question Klopp here?Struggling for form and confidence and he makes 9 changes.

Last time LFC lost 3 games in a row was September 2012 (Arsenal, Man United, Udinese).

3 home games in a row. 3 straight defeats. Unheard of. #LFC now in a full blown crisis as season has completely unraveled. Disastrous week.
