Fifa 18 hasn’t even been released yet and it is already causing arguments amongst football fans. The massively popular video game returns with a new edition on September 29, and the ratings for the top 100 players on the game are been teased out.

The ratings are based on the form of players last season, and some Liverpool fans aren’t happy with Sadio Mane’s rating. The Senegalese forward, who had an excellent season last year and has started this campaign in flying form, is rated at 84 out of 100 on Fifa 18, up from 79 on Fifa 17.

According to quite a few Liverpool fans on social media, Mane should be rated higher, and certainly above Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Manchester United forward had an encouraging first season in the Premier League, scoring 11 times in all competitions as Jose Mourinho’s team won the Europa League and the League Cup.
However, he was arguably outperformed by Mane, who became one of Liverpool’s most important players, scoring 13 goals in 27 league games.

Either way, both have started this season in excellent form, and are worthy of their place in the top 100 of the game’s players. Mkhitaryan is also rated at 85, just one point above Mane.
Vincent Kompany, who has struggled for game time over the past few seasons due to fitness and injury issues, being rated above Mane is arguably more noteworthy. However, Liverpool fan took issue with Mkhitaryan being rated as a better player than Mane.
