‘80% of the bags are covered in piss…’
With the Champions League final drawing ever closer, supporters of Liverpool and Tottenham are descending on Madrid.
The demand for tickets for the first all-English final in over a decade has been huge, and flights to the Spanish capital have been sold out from many UK airports in the couple of days leading up to the final.
As a result, some supporters of both sides have been forced to find alternative modes of transport to get to Spain. Many of these have chosen to travel by road, a journey that can take up to 30 hours.
Unfortunately for one coach full of Liverpool supporters, they were met with an unpleasant surprise as they made a stop during their journey to Spain.
As pointed out by a tweet from Jamie, one of the supporters on board (@DunnyLFC_), the coach’s toilet compartment leaked, covering much of the luggage – ‘80%’ of it – in urine.
80% of the bags are covered in piss cos there’s been a leak Hahahaha 🥴 pic.twitter.com/9SXeUdYv0p

Judging by an earlier tweet, the group had departed on Thursday afternoon, the leak detected before they had boarded the ferry to mainland Europe.
Though Jamie initially indicated that his luggage had been unscathed, a further tweet appears to confirm he wasn’t quite as lucky as he first thought.
Been a belter trip so far but I’m currently stuck washing my clothes in the hotel hahahahaha

Liverpool will play their second successive Champions League final on Saturday night. A year on from their defeat to Real Madrid in Kiev, they will be hoping to secure their sixth European Cup as they take on Tottenham on Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
