Football fans truly have no mercy
Liverpool supporters sarcastically jeered Manchester United’s players as they warmed up prior to the second half of the match at Anfield on Tuesday night.
The Reds eased past United in the Premier League clash, with the away side suffering a 4-0 thrashing thanks to goal from Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane.
Ralf Rangnick’s side – who suffered a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier in the season – dropped to sixth in the Premier League table, three points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

It has been an underwhelming season for the Red Devils, with both results and performances leading to criticism from former players and club legends all campaign.
While the current state of the Old Trafford club is understandably painful for United supporters, Liverpool fans certainly enjoyed what they saw at Anfield on Tuesday – and even, admittedly sarcastically, cheered the away side’s players as they passed the ball around before the second-half.

Cries of ‘Olé’ could be heard from the home supporters as a number of United’s stars knocked the ball around. The ‘fun’ was briefly interrupted as Red Devils captain Harry Maguire – who was doing some stretches – palmed the ball away and back to his teammates.
The sarcastic cheers eventually came to an end when Marcus Rashford stopped the ball, with the second period getting underway quickly after.
Roy Keane blasts three Man United players
United’s ninth league defeat of the season led scathing criticism from former player Roy Keane, who slammed Jesse Lingard, Rashford and Maguire.
“Jesse Lingard comes on!” Keane said on Sky Sports.
“Jesse Lingard coming on to try and save Man United, Jesse Lingard should have left Man United two years ago, he’s not good enough for Man United.
“Rashford played like a child up front. Okay it wasn’t great service, but the one or two bits he got where he was in on goal and a poor touch.
“Defensively, we were trying to help Maguire out here before the match, give him a little bit of PR, but the last goal, Maguire’s passing and defending, not acceptable, not good enough for Man United.”
Liverpool host Everton in their next Premier League match, while United face-off against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side.
