Probably not the best way to react.
Alberto Moreno, for good or for bad, has a reputation for not being the sharpest tool in the box. Whether it be on or off the pitch, he’s ridiculed somewhat for being a bit of a clown. It’s perhaps a tad unfair, as somewhere in there, there’s a good footballer – especially going forward.
But he did himself no favours in Liverpool’s opening fixture of the Premier League season with Watford. The Reds went 1-0 to the home side within 8 minutes with atrocious defending of a set piece. And everyone looked suitably dejected. Everyone it seems, apart from a certain Spaniard.
The happy-go-lucky 25-year-old was seen laughing and joking not soon after the goal was conceded – and it didn’t go down very well…
