Dominic Solanke has become Jurgen Klopp’s first signing of the summer.
On Monday, Liverpool confirmed that the Chelsea striker would complete his transfer to the Reds on July 1, when his contract with the Blues comes to an end.
The England youth international will likely play a significant role in Liverpool’s preseason campaign, with his club debut expected to come in the Asia Trophy competition, which begins in mid-July.
This could be a real coup for Jurgen Klopp's team https://t.co/Zur60ximVH

Solanke, 19, only made one senior appearance for Chelsea but is thought to be a promising prospect and a real coup for Klopp.
And while it typically takes some time for a player from a rival club to endear himself to his new side’s fans, Solanke doesn’t seem to have that problem.
Anfield appears to be the perfect destination for the young forward and he’s clearly quite fond of Liverpool supporters already, with the below tweet from 2012 going viral this week after his impending arrival was confirmed.
Anfield is one Amazing Stadium, the fans are quality!

After experiencing the Anfield atmosphere as a 15-year-old, Solanke was obviously impressed and he’s certainly being welcomed with open arms on Merseyside.
